Unlocking the Potential of Web3 Recruitment:
How to Promote Your Referral Links and Succeed as an Affiliate
As an affiliate of Arubaito, you have the opportunity to unlock the potential of the fast-growing web3 industry and help companies and recruiters to find the best talent in the field. But with so many job boards out there, how do you effectively promote your referral links and stand out from the competition?
First, it’s important to understand your target audience. Are you targeting web3 companies looking to hire developers? Or are you focusing on recruiters who specialize in web3? Knowing your target audience will help you tailor your approach and create content that resonates with them.
Target Audiences
Web3 recruiters are professionals who specialize in helping companies find and hire talent in the web3 ecosystem.
There are several different types of web3 recruiters, including:
Technical recruiters:
These recruiters specialize in identifying and hiring web3 developers, engineers, and other technical positions. They are typically familiar with web3 technologies and protocols and have experience recruiting in the web3 ecosystem.
Business development recruiters:
These recruiters focus on identifying and hiring business development professionals, such as sales and marketing professionals, who can help companies grow and scale in the web3 ecosystem.
Executive recruiters:
These recruiters specialize in identifying and hiring executives and senior leaders for web3 companies. They may also help web2 companies find leaders with web3 experience to lead their transition.
Blockchain recruiters:
These recruiters specialize in identifying and hiring professionals with experience in blockchain technology, which is a key component of the web3 ecosystem.
Decentralized finance (DeFi) recruiters:
These recruiters specialize in identifying and hiring professionals with experience in decentralized finance (DeFi) projects, which are a key applications of web3 technology.
Recruiters with a focus on specific web3 technologies:
These recruiters may have expertise in specific web3 technologies like Ethereum, IPFS, EOS, Solana, and more.
It is important to note that recruiters can have a combination of specialties and aren’t necessarily limited to one specific type and that web3 recruiters can also specialize in other areas like scalability, security, governance, and more.
In web3 companies, different departments may be responsible for hiring new talent depending on the size and structure of the organization. Typically, the main departments responsible for hiring new talent in web3 companies are:
- Human Resources (HR):
The HR department is responsible for managing the overall recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes and scheduling interviews. They are also responsible for developing and maintaining the company’s hiring policies and procedures. - Talent Acquisition/Recruiting:
This department is specifically focused on recruiting and hiring new talent for the organization. They may work closely with the HR department, but often have more autonomy in terms of sourcing and identifying candidates. - Departmental Hiring Managers:
Depending on the size and structure of the organization, departmental managers may also be involved in the hiring process. They may be responsible for identifying the specific needs of their department and working with HR or Talent Acquisition to find suitable candidates. - CEO/Founders:
In smaller web3 companies, the CEO or Founders may also be involved in the hiring process. They may have a strong vision for the company and be heavily involved in the hiring process, especially for key positions. - Technical teams:
In web3 companies, it’s common to have a technical team involved in the hiring process as well. They may be responsible for reviewing resumes and conducting technical interviews for web3 developers, engineers, and other technical positions.
It is important to note that different departments may have different levels of involvement in the hiring process depending on the size and structure of the organization. In some cases, one department may handle all aspects of the recruitment process, while in other cases, multiple departments may work together to find and hire new talent.
One effective way to promote your referral links is to create a blog or website dedicated to the web3 industry. Write articles about the latest trends, job opportunities, and successful companies in the field. Be sure to include your referral links throughout the articles and in a prominent location on your website.
Social media is also a powerful tool for promoting your referral links. Share links to your articles on platforms such as Twitter, LinkedIn, and Telegram, and engage with the web3 community.
Looking at the broader picture when constructing content, you’ll be able to come up with content that projects what targeted audiences are looking for on Google.
Example:
If a web2 company is trying to get into web3, they are likely to Google a wide range of questions to learn about the web3 ecosystem and how to best enter the market. Some examples of questions they may search for include:
- “What is web3 and how does it differ from web2?”
- “How can my web2 company transition to web3?”
- “What are the most popular web3 platforms and protocols?”
- “What are the use cases for web3 technology?”
- “How can we leverage web3 technology to improve our business?”
- “What are the most promising web3 projects and startups?”
- “What are the biggest challenges facing the web3 ecosystem and how can we overcome them?”
- “How to hire web3 developers and build a web3 team?”
- “What are the regulatory challenges associated with web3 and how to comply with them?”
- “What are the best resources to learn more about web3 and stay up-to-date with the latest developments?”
These questions demonstrate a level of curiosity and willingness to learn about web3 technology and how it can be leveraged to improve the company’s business.
Companies may also look for case studies, webinars, whitepapers and other resources that can provide more in-depth information on web3 and its potential.
You can also join web3-related groups and offer to help companies and recruiters find the best talent through the affiliate program.
It’s also important to be transparent and honest when promoting your referral links. Let companies and recruiters know that you are an affiliate and that you will receive a commission if they use your referral link. This will help build trust and encourage them to use your link.
Remember, as an affiliate of Arubaito, you have the potential to make a real difference in the lives of companies and recruiters in the web3 industry.
